Valentine’s Day Flowers: The Importance of Ordering Early

by Rachael Priest on January 18, 2012

Valentine’s Day is upon us once again. In less than one month, your sweetheart will be eagerly anticipating the arrival of her Valentine’s Day flowers, curiously waiting to see what it is you chose for him or her. If you want to have a better chance of getting exactly what you want, it is important to talk to your florist as early as possible.

“With Valentine’s Day just a few weeks away, it’s a good idea to think about ordering your flowers early. This is especially true if you want a specific color or flower. Yellow, orange, or lavender roses, for example, are not as common as white, pink, and red, and most florists only order a handful of them if at all. The closer the day gets the harder it will be for your florist to obtain these colors from their supplier.”

The above quote is from an article on Yahoo!Voices entitled Valentine’s Day Flowers: Demystifying the Experience. We encourage you to follow the link to read the article in its entirety. Along with an explanation of the importance of ordering your Valentine’s Day flowers early, it is also full of excellent tips to make your ordering experience less stressful.
